Don’t you just hate it when a song gets stuck in your head, and you find yourself humming that tune for the rest of the day?

That’s exactly what happened to me one day when I was in the elevator on my way to work. One guy who works on the 26th floor of our building got a call on his cell phone, and had the Mission Impossible theme as his ring tone. To my annoyance, the Mission Impossible theme song was all I could ever think about as I went about my job. And the fact that that guy was good-looking didn’t even have anything to do with it.

Worse, I caught myself humming the theme song from Mission Impossible as I was going up the stairs to my apartment! I wasn’t even that much of a fan of both the TV series and the Tom Cruise movies, yet there I was scouring the Internet for mp3s of Mission Impossible’s theme music. Before I went to bed, I’ve already downloaded at least 6 versions of the Mission Impossible song. Limp Bizkit’s version of the Mission Impossible theme music was slammin’, but it was Rockapella’s acapella rendition of the iconic Mission Impossible music that really bowled me over.

Now wait a sec. What the hell’s wrong with me? Am I suffering from OCD? Should I start getting some professional help?

I guess not. When I woke up in the morning, I’ve forgotten all about the whole Mission Impossible theme business. I’m OK.

Then “Who Are You?” from CSI came on the radio….and that’s when I knew I’m screwed.
