San Diego

San Diego may be the second largest city in the state of California, but life here isn’t as hectic as those in cities such as Los Angeles and San Francisco. In fact, life here is much more laid back than its status as a major financial and business center suggests. A city blessed with 70 miles of beaches and a climate that is generally pleasant all year round, San Diego is just about as perfect a getaway as it gets.

As far as attractions go, the beautiful beaches of San Diego are just the tip of the iceberg. Sunny San Diego has something for people of all ages. Families looking for things to do are surely going to have a grand time visiting Seaworld or the world-famous San Diego Zoo, one of the largest zoos in the world. Those who prefer a more natural site can always check out Torrey Pines State Reserve just outside of town and be on the lookout for the rare birds that often skim the tops of the park’s majestic pine trees. But if you want to step back in time and learn something about San Diego’s past, it’s always a pleasure to drop by the many museums located right inside Balboa Park. Incidentally, the same park has an 18-hole golf course where you can tee off as well.

And when the night comes, the city comes to life. Not only are there many fine restaurants in San Diego that boast of a wide array of cuisines that cater to just about every taste and preference, but the city is also bursting with clubs, bars and concert venues where you can drink and dance to your heart’s content. All these, and a whole lot more, are waiting for you in San Diego.
